Selina Wamsley is an emerging artist living and working in Kjipuktuk, Halifax. Theircurrent studio practice focuses on oil painting. Using their body as a reference for building imaginary worlds and spiritual icons to explore themes of gender, sexuality and spiritual practice. Their paintings are influenced by the history of Western European religious icon painting, gender crossing saints, science fiction and personal experience.
