Duane Jones (b. 1981, Devonshire, Bermuda), based in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, Nova Scotia) has a multi-disciplinary practice that is informed by and seeks to subvert his experience as a Black immigrant, cisgender man.
Existing at a crossroad between North-American, Caribbean and British culture, his work often explores race, gender, sexual orientation and how his cultural experiences inform or contradict common narratives.
