Cheryl Greenberg was born in Kitchener Ontario and moved to Nova Scotia in 1977. She soon became interested in painting, attending classes in oils, then acrylics and then watercolour. Her art participation included many continuing art education classes and painting workshops.
She joined the Dartmouth Art Students League, and then NSCAD, completing a Visual Arts Certificate in 2012. Greenberg spent a year in Chapel Hill N.C., as well as in Toulouse France, active in art classes and in group shows.
Locally, she has worked as an artist for Visual Arts Nova Scotia (PAINTS program) and for the 4-C Foundation. Her work has been shown at various locations in HRM including the Teichert Gallery (Art Sales and Rental), the Halifax Stanfield Airport, World Trade and Convention Centre Halifax.
